Tick, Tick, Tick.....

Lately Gregg has been using his study breaks to practice his Guitar hero skills. He's been practicing so much that he's moved up to the expert level and has mastered 3 new songs - what a hero!!! Of course while he's doing this I'm constantly shopping online and staring at my beloved black boots that I am hoping Santa brings me for Christmas! Just a little insight to the things we do to pass the time.....tick....tick....tick!

Happy Pre-Christmas

Even though Thanksgiving hadn't begun yet (this is a late post) Gregg had come home from work with a fake Christmas tree for our tiny apartment. It came pre-lit (he's so smart) and we had such a great time deciding what colors our ornaments should be and definitely took our time at Ikea going back and forth with color schemes. I can't even imagine the two of us decorating an entire house together. Ha! Either way our tree came out perfect....We played Christmas music and talked while we hung our newly purchased Christmas ornaments. Gregg was so sweet he even went to Target and bought a special ornament that has a picture frame and the year marked on it so that we can always remember the first year we bought our FIRST Christmas tree together. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......

SAN DIEGO SUPER CHARGERS!

The day after we flew back for Thanksgiving we were lucky enough to go to an exciting San Diego Charger Football game. We were decked out in our powder blue and navy gear representing the famous LaDanian Tomlinson #21!! We met up with Shaunna and Stephanie who also had tickets right next to us. Even though we almost lost our voices it was such a great game. This sign that Gregg is holding was the main event of the game. The fans got creative and folded these into paper airplanes and attempted to throw the on to the field. Not only was there multiple "delay of game" calls but people were even escorted out of the stadium!
Needless to say, we loved the excitment!! Gregg claims that "the first thing he is going to buy when he gets his job as an attorney is season football tickets!!"

Go Number 51!

While we were at home we were able to go to Gregg's nephew's junior league football game. I couldn't help myself and snapped about 50 shots of Manuel in action. I took so many pictures that I decided to make a cute mini football scrapbook(*pictures to come!) to capture all the memories. He did such a good job playing, I was amazed that he is only 7 years old and already wearing football pads! What a sweetheart!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!

This year for Thanksgiving was the first time that Gregg had accompanied my family and I in our home. It was such a treat to have him there with me. Lisa, Gregg and I flew out of San Diego and arrived at home only to be greeted by my excited parents. We had such a great time at home hanging out with family and close friends. We managed to fit in dinner with both our parents, a junior Sheldon football game, a Feed the Hungry Thanksgiving race, the experience of Black Friday Shopping and just good quality time with our families. Everytime we leave Granite Bay/Folsom.....it just gets harder and harder to say goodbye to the place we BOTH call home....can't wait for Christmas!!
