Kayaking Crew

Gregg and I had a fabulous Memorial Day! We actually went Kayaking for the first time in San Diego at Mission Bay. It was definitely an experience. I wanted to bring my camera on the actual boat, but I was advised that it would get very wet and probably break. So I had to settle for these "before" pictures. Kayaking is quite an adventure if you've never been. Gregg actually thought he'd be really good at it so he went alone while I went tandum with my friend Brett. We were having a blast and even had a sea lion swim up to us (kinda scary, not gonna lie). It was all fun and games until Sidd (who goes every week) told us that we should make a big loop - what he didn't tell us was that it was going to take 2 hours to complete. After it was over, I felt like my arms were noodles, although it was a really great workout. Gregg and I are thinking we should definitely buy a used tandum kayak so we can go more often. Yahooo!!! These are all pictures of us and our friends that we've made from law school. Just another adventure with your law school crew!

My Twinner

I looove my friend Nicole. We met last year while working at a company that works with travel nurses - Access Nurses! Since then we have become great friends. Most people (well the people at Starbucks) say that we look like twins. Hence the name "Twinner". We email back and forth all day long and we are lucky enough to still be working near each other so we meet up for lunch dates every week. On this particular night we went over to her boyfriend Mike's house to attend a birthday party. Mike's friends are AWESOME!! They are so welcoming and so great to Gregg, it's a wonder why we don't hang out with them more often. Luckily Mike and Nicole are going to be living near us starting September and we can't wait to start double dating with them! Yay for fun friends!

Heat Wave

A few weekends ago it was probably 100 degrees in sunny San Diego and it felt like a heat wave had taken over. I really thought I was back home in Sacramento! So Lisa and I decided to take advantage of this beautiful weather and throw on our cute summer dresses and drive down to PB with Harley. We walked all around the beautiful bay and just took in the hot sun. Harley enjoyed it too, but after a while we had to stop by a palm tree for some rest and relaxation. It was such a clear day so I decided to have a photoshoot with the three of us, these pictures came out really well. Poor Har I probably blinded him with all the pictures I took.
