Sunday Crafts

Since Gregg had a lot of studying to do today to prep for this week's mock trial, I decided to do some crafting. I first started making a cute christmas card to see how it would turn out. I have a little baby sewing machine that Gregg bought me one year (from Walmart, only $10.00) to scrapbook with and I hadn't used it in a really long time. As you can see my sewing abilities aren't all that great, considering the seems aren't in a straight line - but I'm practicing!!! The card turned out pretty cute, although I wished I had little letter stamps instead of my writing. I was trying to make it as cute as I could, but stamps would have made it MUCH cuter. I'll have to go get some at Michael's this week so that I can start early on cards this year.
Next I decided to do some decoupage (sp?) on a wooden frame that I had bought...years ago. Since I don't have any cute pictures of Harley at my desk (in frame) I decided to make this one really quick. The hardest part was finding the letters in magazines but I think it turned out pretty well. I'm going to definitely need to take a better picture too - but this one does the job for now. I'm excited to take it to work and find a place for it on my desk! Hooray for Harley Har har!!!
