Daniel Jackson Willock

Jobs. Everyone has them. Even SAHMs are considered a job (stay-at-home-mom's). From what I can imagine (since I'm not a parent yet) becoming a parent is one of the most difficult, rewarding, challenging and remarkable jobs that anyone takes on in this lifetime. Before you can start your new job as a parent you go through many life changes, body changes and let's not forget emotional changes too. However, one of the BEST moments (I think) in this transitional time in your life is the gift of being 'showered' before your new baby arrives. G and I had the priviledge of being invited to attend our dear friends Brad & Elisa's baby shower over the summer. The shower was filled to the brim with an entire spread of homemade food from family and friends. There were SO many people in attendance who seriously adored Brad & Elisa - it was remarkable to be a part of. It was truly an exceptional shower and by far my favorite part was hearing both Brad & Elisa, her sister Gina and her father say some beautiful words to all of their guests.

Fast forward a few months to present day. Brad & Elisa have started their "new job" already and welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Daniel Jackson on November 4th, 2011. 8lbs and 4oz of complete goodness! G and I were lucky enough to visit and meet Daniel before he was 1 week old, he is incredible. I am truly in awe of Brad & Elisa. They have taken theis new job so seriously and it seems like they have been preparing for it all their lives - they were naturals.
We got them this beautiful boppy - it fits him perfectly (for now)!
